Lumina Birth is a family-run business right in the heart of Washtenaw County, Michigan. We believe in serving growing families who are navigating the heavy responsibility of raising little ones. We believe in evidence-informed care and giving parents the information, support, and space to make their own family decisions.

Hi! I’m Courtney

I began this company with you in mind, mama. This is for the ones that obsess about trying to be the perfect mom. The ones that tend to put themselves last. The ones that may not have a village on their own, but who want to build the strongest and safest one for their child.

I can relate to feeling anxious and lost. I remember how long the time between appointments felt, and not feeling completely understood by my OB. I want to be a light for others who find themselves feeling lost while becoming a parent.

As a mother of four incredible individuals, my days are largely spent caring for and exploring the world with them. I am also a student at UM-Flint on my way to earning a MSW. I provide trauma-informed care and will make sure you feel secure and confident as you embark on this huge journey.
